Part A: To the extent it’s possible to compare the July 2013 mean raw scores with the February 2013 mean raw scores, overall, applicants performed lower on the July essays than they did on the February essays. However, applicants performed higher on the July multiple-choice than they did on the February multiple-choice.

Part B: The July 2013 applicants scored comparable to the February 2013 applicants. The July mean raw scores for Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Real Property, and Torts were slightly higher than the February mean raw scores. The July mean raw scores for Contracts and Evidence were slightly lower than the February mean raw scores.
