Good In, Good Out

Giving: Good In, Good Out

“Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty….” Proverbs 3:9-10

GIVING: GOOD IN, GOOD OUTMost of us can testify for ourselves, or we know of someone who can testify about tithing and offering. I tend to think of it as a miracle that looks like a mystery. You know the story: “I went to Church and gave my last dime, and shortly thereafter, I received a financial blessing out of the blue.” But truth be told, it didn’t come out of the blue.

Consider these things: The act of giving cheerfully is GOOD. The act of helping others freely is also GOOD. And the gift of receiving a blessing from God is most certainly GOOD. Simply put, “Good In, Good Out”.

To be a good person genuinely results in a peaceful soul and peaceful spirit. To give generously and feel good about it plants seeds of abundance. So remember, if you genuinely put your heart into something, and for the good of something or someone else, you soon realize that the act of giving freely ensures that you will abundantly receive what you need from God.

Wise Words: “I don’t often spend more than a half-an-hour in prayer at one time, but I never go more than half-an-hour without praying.” ~Smith Wigglesworth
