WE ARE NOT A BAR REVIEW PREP COURSE

1. When do you post exam predictions/speculations?

IF we post exam predictions (viz. “exam speculations”) for the upcoming Florida Bar Exam, we will do so approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to the actual exam. We are continuously asked to post the predictions sooner; however, we do not believe that it is in our readers’ best interest to do so.

To successfully pass the Florida Bar Exam, it is very important that applicants study and know the black letter law for all of the testable subjects and understand how to apply the law to a particular set of facts. If we post our exam predictions too early, some applicants tend to mistakenly focus only on the “predicted” subjects as opposed to all of the exam subjects.

Because we truly care about our readers’ success on the Florida Bar Exam, we believe it is best to post our so-called bar exam predictions (viz., speculations) within 2 to 3 weeks of the actual exam and not any sooner. Therefore, please do not contact us regarding the possible posting date of exam predictions.

2. Do you provide Florida Bar Exam Part A study schedules?

Well, yes, and no. We are currently working on making some generic study schedules for your Florida Bar Exam studies. We hope to make them available to you within the next few months. Please check our website for updates. Thank you.

3. What books do you recommend for a Self-Studier?

Part A

For Part A of the Florida Bar Exam, we tend to lean toward Themis Florida books Volume 1 and Volume 2 for learning general substantive law and the Florida law distinctions. Volumes 1 and 2 only contain black letter substantive law, so you will need to purchase additional online materials that have Florida multiple-choice practice questions in them.

Themis does provide Florida applicants with such resources. However, as we understand it, Themis’s multiple-choice practice questions are only available online, whereas their books are self-standing. As of this writing, it is our understanding that an applicant might have to purchase Themis’s online complete Florida Bar Exam Preparation Course to obtain all of the Florida material.

In the alternative, we also recommend using BarBri’s Florida Testing Books I and II. Both books are replete with Florida multiple-choice practice questions.

Part B

For Part B of the Florida Bar Exam, viz., the MBE, we currently recommend using Adaptibar. The program is fairly priced, and if used correctly, it can help to increase your overall MBE score.

4. Do you provide Tutoring Services for Part A of the Exam?

Yes, we do. However, we accept a limited number of applicants per exam. For serious inquiries, contact us.  Please be sure to provide us with:

  • your name,
  • current email address,
  • when and where you graduated,
  • whether or not you are licensed to practice in another state, and
  • your specific needs or desired services.

For best tutorial assistance, if you are a Florida Bar Exam repeater, please be sure to provide us with a copy of your most recent Florida Bar Exam raw/scaled scores.
