Twenty-Four Hours in a Day: How will you spend yours?

Twenty-Four Hours 24My grandfather once told me that the number twenty-four is a very important number. He described it as being a fair number.

You see, everybody in the world gets 24 hours a day to accomplish great things. Unfortunately, not everyone achieves greatness. Some of us sleep most of the day. Some of us muddle-around doing many things but never completing anything. And then, there are some of us who put the work in, and take the time to praise our Heavenly Father, thanking Him for any achievements we’ve made.

In short, the people who tend to prosper and enjoy their gifts from God are the ones who take time to praise and thank Him. Remember, faith without works is dead (see James 2:14-26). So, put the work in, praise your Heavenly Father, and use your twenty-four hours wisely.
